In the afternoon of Oct. 20, Hussain Haider, Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai, and his delegation visited the headquarters of KHB in Shanghai, accompanied by Chen Chao, President of KHB, Wang Xu, Vice General Manager of Self-produced Business Center and International Business Division, and Xu Hao, Director of Marketing Department.

    It is a return visit to the one when KHB was invited to visit the Consulate of Pakistan in Shanghai in June this year. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the friendly relationship between Pakistan and China, the Belt and Road Initiative advocated by General Secretary Xi Jinping, the development of the Yangtze River Delta and other hot topics. The Consul General showed great interest in KHB development and its cutting-edge technology and products, and sincerely invited KHB to participate more in the investment and construction for Pakistan in the future.

    The Belt and Road Initiative follows the trend of the times, upholds the principle of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration, carries forward the spirit of openness, inclusiveness and mutual learning, adheres to the goals of mutual benefit and common development, and pursues the purpose of people-oriented and for the benefit of all. The Belt and Road Initiative is becoming a China's Plan for our country to participate in open global cooperation, improve the global economic governance system, promote common development and prosperity, and facilitate the building of a community of shared future for mankind. As one of the few explorers and practitioners in the field of IVD in China with more than 40 years of history, KHB will be more involved in the Belt and Road Initiative in the future.

    The two sides visited the exhibition hall on the first floor of the No.9 R&D Building of KHB, learning about the development history of the company for more than 40 years and the latest reagents and instrument products. In front of the Polaris all-in-one machine for display, the Consul General stopped for a long time. He carefully inquired about the such detailed questions as the operation principle, usage and testing speed of the machine, and fully affirmed KHB’s technical application and R&D strength in related fields.

    At the end of the trip, both sides also visited the enzyme immunoassay production workshop of KHB, having an in-depth understanding of the R&D and production of relevant reagents of KHB. Next, KHB will be exhibiting at MEDICA in Düsseldorf, Germany in November, helping China's IVD solutions go global in more international exchanges and events!
